Democratic Republic of Congo
Education
Education: a right for every child
The project aims to provide quality inclusive education for 1,200 out-of-school children including girls, children affected by conflict, and children with disabilities and special educational needs at schools and accelerated learning centers in North Kivu, Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
Lesotho
Health / Education
Training and mentorship in child nutrition and feeding for nurses
The project aims to strengthen the capacity of nurses at six health centers in Maseru through a training and mentorship program focused on nutrition and feeding. Spoon will be partnering with the Lesotho National Federation of Organizations for the Disabled (LNFOD).

Education
Vocational training and mentorship for vulnerable young women
The project aims to equip, support and empower 30 marginalized young women (aged 16 to 25) through vocational training combined with mentoring so that each woman recognizes her value and achieves her potential.

Kyusyani's Transformation: A Magnet for Opportunity and Excellence
20 February 2024
The project led by the Tsavo Trust completed the construction and outfitting of a science laboratory and provided the Kyusyani Secondary school with water and solar power, within the Kamungi Conservancy in Southern Kenya. The project has had a ripple effect far beyond the walls of the new science laboratory, with a 13.75% increase in students enrolling from local and neighbouring communities. This jump, from 160 students in 2023 to 182 in 2024, reflects a growing confidence in the school's ability to provide quality education.Four new projects approved in December 2023

The Addax and Oryx Foundation has been supporting Women’s Global Education Project since 2021 for an “Education and leadership support for adolescent girls” project. During the 2022-2023 academic year, 405 high school students (345 girls and 60 boys) developed their leadership and advocacy skills.In numbers
