The Addax and Oryx Foundation granted funding for two new projects at its September Board meeting.

The Belgian association Pro-Action Développement will receive funding for a project to improve the sanitary environment of families and communities living in the municipality of Gihanga in Burundi. The two-year project aims to sustainably improve the living conditions of the targeted communities, in particular by improving their health thanks to improved sanitation.

The Foundation also granted funding to the American NGO Trees for the Future for its Ikinu Forest Garden project in Kenya. The project aims to permanently lift 325 families out of poverty through the use of more sustainable farming practices
