Promoting access to education and employment

The project has two main objectives in two districts of the capital, Bissau. Firstly, it aims to promote access to nursery school for vulnerable children, while strengthening the quality of teacher training. Secondly, it aims to facilitate access to vocational training and professional integration for vulnerable youths (50% women). Overall, the project intends to build on and make sustainable the achievements of a previous three-year project implemented by ESSOR in the same two districts. To this end, a special effort will be made to formalise the activities through the development of partnerships with public authorities and other local stakeholders specialised in these domains.
